Jan Aadhaar Verification

There is a two-level mechanism for verification of Jan Aadhaar process.

First level verification

  - For Rural Area (Block Level) - Village Development Officer (VDO)

  - For urban area (municipal body) - Commissioners/ Deputy Commissioners/ Executive Officers of Urban Bodies

Second level verification

   - For Rural Area (Block Level) - Block Statistics Officer (BSO)

   - For urban area (municipal body) - Sub Divisional Officer

For Bank Details Verification- NPCI verification

  - NPCI share status of Bank Account

  - If NPCI verification has not completed in 5 days after second level verification then Joint/Deputy Director of the District Statistics Office can verify the bank details.
