Jan Aadhaar scheme is based on the ideology of 'One Number, One Card, One Identity'. Its main objective is to prepare a database of demographic and socio-economic information of the resident families in the state. The Jan Aadhaar scheme also serves as a documentary proof of identity and address to the head of the family and all the members. Through this scheme, the cash benefits of various departmental schemes of the state are transferred directly into the beneficiary's bank account in a transparent manner. Also, the benefits of public welfare schemes are made available closer to homes of the residents and expanding e-commerce and insurance facilities in rural areas.

All the residents of Rajasthan and state government employees (pensioners also) who are not residents of the state or working outside the state can get enrolled in Jan Aadhaar. Resident means an individual who has been residing in the state for at least 6 months.

For enrollment in Jan Aadhaar scheme, any adult member of the family can apply with the required documents through Raj SSO by login from own SSO ID and click on Jan Aadhaar icon or by visiting any e-Mitra kiosk. After entering the Aadhaar number of the proposed head of the family for enrollment, the enrollment process starts after completing the Aadhaar authentication.

Consequently, enrollment is completed by entering the information of the head of the family and other members of the family and uploading the supporting documents. After completion of Jan Aadhaar enrollment, two-level verification is going to be done as per requirement and after successful verification the 10-digit Jan Aadhaar family ID & 11-digit individual IDs are issued.

The following kind of members of the family may become head of the family: -

1.  A female member above 18 years of age

2.  A male member aged 21 years or more (if there is no female member of 18 years or above in the family)

3.  The eldest member of the family (if there is neither a female aged 18 years or above nor a male aged 21 years or above in the family)

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS

1.  Aadhaar No. of the head of family and all the family members above 5 years of age.

2.  Bank Account passbook/Cheque book of the head of family (Bank Account passbook/cheque book of other family members, if the members want to link their bank account).

3.  Photograph and Birth certificate or Aadhar no. of members of age upto 5 years.

4.   Aadhaar no. is mandatory if the member is born outside Rajasthan

5.   Aadhaar No. & Birth certificate is mandatory if a member is older than 5 years and born after January 1, 2018.

6.   Proof of Address – Electricity Bill, Water bill, Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport.

Yes, since the main purpose of creation of the Jan Aadhaar family ID is to identify all the authentic members of the resident families for which Aadhaar authentication is required through biometric or OTP of all the resident members above 5 years of age. 

There is a two-level mechanism for verification of Jan Aadhaar enrolment.

First level verification- by Village Development Officer in rural areas and Executive Officer in urban areas.

Second level verification- by Block Statistical Officer in rural areas and Subdivision Officer in urban areas.

After this verification process the Jan Aadhaar Family ID is issued.

The residents can check the status of Jan Aadhaar enrolment through the Jan Aadhaar App avalilable in e-Mitra/own SSO ID.

In such cases, the eldest member of the family is adjudged as 'Head of Family' after marking her/him as an orphan. Consequently, a guardian is also appointed and entered into the family through his/her own family ID. After this, younger members of the family can also be added.

Resident should login with his SSO ID or login through E-mitra kiosk, after that in the Enrolment module of Jan Aadhar App, citizen should enter his Aadhar number and click on the Aadhar Authentication button, After entering the Aadhaar OTP, “Continue and cancel” window will open, click on the Continue button on it. On clicking, the Acknowledgement page will open. Click on the E-sign button here and select the member through whom E-sign is to be done. Complete the E-sign process through Aadhaar OTP. As soon as the e-sign process is completed, the application will be transferred for further processing.

This situation may occur due to the following reasons:-

1. E-KYC of Head of the Family /Members is pending in Jan Aadhar enrollment.
2. Bank details of Head of the Family not updated.

Citizen should update all these so that Jan Aadhar number can be issued.

Wait for the bank details to be verified by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). After verification from NPCI, the bank details will be updated in Jan Aadhar.

Through Aadhaar e-KYC in Jan Aadhaar, Aadhaar authentication of the head of the family and all the family members is done to ensure the Aadhaar authentication of the concerned person. Through this, the name, date of birth, gender and photograph of the concerned resident are included in his/her Jan Aadhaar from the Aadhaar database.

Yes, for Jan Aadhaar enrollment/editing it is mandatory for Head of family and members of age above 5 years to perform Aadhaar e-KYC in Jan Aadhaar. Members below 5 years of age should perform their e-KYC through Birth certificate (if Birth certificate is issued in Rajasthan) or Aadhaar e-KYC (if Birth certificate is issued outside the state of Rajasthan).

Aadhaar eKYC in Jan Aadhaar can be performed through nearest e-Mitra or the resident herself through SSO ID with the option of "Family eKYC" available on the Jan Aadhaar portal. The process of performing Aadhaar e-KYC has also been illustrated through the user manual available on the Jan Aadhaar website https://janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in/

After Jan-Aadhaar ID is issued to the family, resident can download free Jan-Aadhaar e-card after OTP verification from Jan-Aadhaar portal through their own SSO ID or can get it by visiting nearest e-Mitra kiosk.

The e-card is password protected. It can be viewed by entering the first 4 letters of the 'Head of the family' name and the date and month of birth. For example, if the HoF name in a Jan Aadhaar family is SANTOSH DEVI and the date of birth is 20.01.1970, then the password of the Jan Aadhaar e-card will be SANT2001.

 

Jan Aadhaar enrollment and adding a member to the enrolled Jan Aadhaar is free. Any updation done through your own SSO ID is also free of cost. If the request is made through an e-Mitra, the fee prescribed by government will be payable.

Yes, any kind of modification/updation in the information entered in Jan Aadhaar registration can be done through e-Mitra or through own SSO ID by the resident. After updating the Jan Aadhaar number in the SSO profile, the modification can be done by going to the Jan Aadhaar icon available in the Citizen Apps. Modification/updation can be done by the head of family/adult member through Aadhaar authentication. Verification of changes in Jan Aadhaar is done through a two-level verification process before allowing the actual updation in the system.

There is a two-level mechanism for verification of Jan Aadhaar Modification/Updation.

First level verification- by Village Development Officer in rural areas and Executive Officer in urban areas.

Second level verification- by Block statistical Officer in rural areas and Subdivision Officer in urban areas.

After both the verifications are done, the Modification/ Updation made by the citizen in Jan Aadhaar are updated.

The family can be split through the SPLIT facility provided in Jan Aadhaar portal. The split member/s is/are provided with a new Jan Aadhaar family ID, with their member IDs remaining unaltered.

Provided that, from among the split member/s, either the single member or at least one member of the old family should fulfill all the conditions required for becoming the head of the new family. Also, all the family members above 5 years of age should have completed their Aadhaar e-KYC in Jan Aadhaar.

Members below 5 years of age should complete their e-KYC through Birth Certificate (if Birth Certificate is issued in Rajasthan) or Aadhaar e-KYC (if Birth Certificate is issued outside Rajasthan).  If eKYC is done through Birth Certificate, Aadhaar authentication of Head of Family (HoF) will be required to split such members.

Member/s can be transferred from one Jan Aadhaar family to another, through the MEMBER TRANSFER facility provided in Jan Aadhaar portal, provided that the all the family members above 5 years of age should have completed their Aadhaar e-KYC in Jan Aadhaar. Members below 5 years of age should complete their e-KYC through Birth certificate (if Birth certificate is issued in Rajasthan) or Aadhaar e-KYC (if Birth certificate is issued outside Rajasthan). 

If a member is below 5 years of age and his/her eKYC has been done using Birth Certificate, then Aadhaar authentication of Head of Family (HoF) will be required to transfer that member.

In case of death of any member in the family, the family should provide the Jan Aadhaar number while obtaining the death certificate, so that the name of the deceased person can be automatically removed from the Jan Aadhaar.

If the Jan Aadhar of the deceased person is not given while obtaining the death certificate, then an application will have to be submitted through e-Mitra and SSO itself to remove the name of that person. After verification (by first and second level verifier), the name can be removed from Jan Aadhaar.

For all cases other than death, online request along with recommendation of the concerned second level verifier has to be sent to the concerned District Collector, after which it will be approved/rejected by the District Collector.

No, a resident family can only submit the income of the previous financial year in Jan Aadhaar by uploading ITR or documents verified by a notary. After verification (by first and second level verifier), the family income is updated. No amendment can be made in this updated income details for that financial year, it can be amended only once if the family income is different from the uploaded document due to any typing error.

PPO numbers in Jan Aadhaar are obtained from RajSSP services operated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. If an individual's PPO number is not getting added, then the concerned person can contact the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and register his/her PPO number on RajSSP portal.

Domicile certificate and Caste certificate are automatically updated in Jan Aadhaar after the certificate is issued through e-Mitra services. Therefore, the resident needs to obtain the digital domicile and caste certificates issued through e-Mitra, so that the same can be directly updated in Jan Aadhaar.

In Jan Aadhar, the status of NFSA and ration card is obtained from ration services. If the NFSA and ration card number of a person is not linked, then the concerned person can contact the Food and Supply Department and register his ration card number.

In case of transfer of a HoF from one family to another, the HoF will be transferred either as a member to the another family (if an eligible member of the new family is already a HoF) or will become HoF of the new family if all other members of the new family are ineligible to remain HoF in presence of the addition of this new member.

Simultaneously, one of the eligible members of the old Jan Aadhaar family shall be chosen and marked as the new HoF. 

First check Adult member KYC is updated or not if not In Janaadhaar then first update member EKYC  from Family Ekyc module, then process.
